    First and foremost, as a Pet Sitter I have undergone, and cleared, several checks:

    • A search of the Department of Justice's National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW).

    • A search of a National Criminal Database for any disqualifying criminal offenses.

    • A search of county criminal court records based on the person's address history.

    And! The majority of my professional life has been all about creating and holding safe spaces. As a human living through these crazy days, I seek out safe spaces. So I aim to create the sorts of spaces I hope to be a part of. My work at Outward Bound involved care taking humans (ages 12-80) in wilderness adventure education programming - up to 24 hours a day, 90 days at a time. And as a yoga teacher, my work hinges on safety and my ability to build trust with students.

    When it comes to building trust with animals… it’s just one of my gifts. Math is not a strong suit, nor is cooking. But most dogs and cats will give me a nose boop eventually!

  • Dog walking is an all season ordeal! We walk and play with pups on most days in most weather conditions. In the event of heavy rainfall or lightning, visits will be conducted mainly indoors with an outdoor potty break.

    However, sometimes the weather simply makes the risk of driving unreasonable. In the event of snow or ice, we will follow the Howard County Public School** system to make a determination. If HCPS closes schools, we will cancel walks.

    In the event of weather cancellation due to snow or ice, there will be no charge.
